SAMHY - our January star.
She was born in Alcoy and studied Drawing and Painting at the Alcoy School of Fine Arts. Her painting is fresh and loose, her palette opts for oxides, oranges, temples, warm ranges with shades of grey, greenish and purple make that the colours vibrate harmoniously.
Her favourite mediums are acrylic paint mixed with oil and even with "collage", with which she achieves interesting textures and a very interesting set. Use both the brush and the spatula in a fresh way, trying not to saturate, so that the paint "breathes".
SAMHY, starting from the chosen theme, studies it, transforms, breaks and structures the fundamental forms by harmonizing colour, planes, volumes and spaces. Her brushstrokes move with agility, creating nuances, interesting spaces of light and shadow, evidencing her technical mastery and great expressive charge.
SAMHY participated in more than one hundred group and individual exhibitions and received numerous national and international awards, and despite this, she continues to learn and train.
